Oh the things Claire can make us do.....

While we were eating lunch Sunday, Brian was trying to practice the hymns for church Sunday night. As soon as Claire heard the piano she tried to get out of her high chair. She wouldn't eat anything else. As soon as I got her down she made a bee-line to the piano. When Brian was done she went right back to her chair and promptly finished lunch!

Why Abby climbed into the port-a-crib, no one will ever really know, however Claire thought it was HYSTERICAL!!

Mid-week art project

We found these cute little yard critters at Wal-Mart. Add a little paint, and a sleeping 15 month old and you have an art project!! Lots of fun, lots of mess, and Isabelle has already broken hers!

Isabelle and Claire

We had a dual doctor's appointment today for the girls. Claire's 15 month check up yielded her at 19lbs, and 28 1/2 inches. (that puts her in the 3-5%!) However it means she is back on the chart. All that oatmeal is paying off. (and chicken nuggets, yogurt, pretzels, raisins, pears, bananas, well anything you give her!) What Claire lacks in size she more than makes up for in attitude (and teeth).

Isabelle- though I don't remember exact measurements (give me a break I had all 4 kids with me!) came in at 75% for weight, and off the chart (the top of the chart) for height. The height surprised me quite a bit because I don't think Isabelle is particularly tall, although I did notice at church last night she was taller than another girl her age. (usually the two of them go back and forth with height depending on who is going through the latest growth spurt!)

All that to say, everybody is growing and doing well. I know that some of you could care less about any of this information, however us mom's like to know all the particulars! Happy Eating!

It's 5:30am, why am I awake?????

Well, it started with the house shaking. I wasn't sure if the house was about explode or what. Come to find out, the shaking has been felt across the city. That's right folks, we just had an earthquake. In a year where we have had tornadoe's in January, major snow storm in March followed by flooding, this takes the cake! Anybody else feel the shaking this morning! (by the way, the earthquake only woke up Samuel, and he thinks it is cool!-I think it is was a little unnerving, especially with Brian being gone!)

UPDATE- earthquake -approximately 5.4 in magnitude, epicenter, southern Illinois.

Good friends, spring flowers, and Claire

This past weekend we said a tearful goodbye to our friends the Barnett family. They are headed back to the mission field after being home for about 9 months. We enjoyed our time with them, and the kids loved getting to know their new/old friends!

A few more birthday pictures.

Isabelle's birthday is only 3 days before my mom's so we celebrated both this past weekend. Isabelle was really excited to share her celebration with Grandma. She even shared part of her cake!

Happy Birthday Isabelle!!!!

We are having a week of celebration for Isabelle's birthday. It is amazing to me that she is 4. Of course it wouldn't be a birthday here without our traditional trip to Pizza King and Graeters. This year we included our friends the Bebee's. (This is the guy who always wants to squeeze our kids.) Happy Birthday Isabelle.

Graeter's made faces in the kids ice cream with sprinkles!

How do you entertain a 14 month old?

With two older siblings and a measuring tape.

Shoes......us too.

"Cousin Will maybe able to say shoe, but can he lift these shoes? Huh? Whose the stronger Croft baby now? That's what I thought."

(for those of you curious www.dccrofts.blogspot.com )

**Claire's thoughts do not represent the feelings of the entire Kentucky Croft household. And those are Samuel's shoes, not mine or Brian's!!!
