We are currently experiencing another round of sickness in our household. So far I have escaped it, as well as Brian-but he is out of town. So until then enjoy the pictures from prior to Isabelle's surgery.

Why we should NEVER drink "happy juice"

Isabelle was already laughing and having fun before the "happy juice" entered the scene. After you watch this you may be thinking "why in the world would sensitive, loving parents ever video their child in this drug-induced state?". Well, because it was funny!!!

Ok, you may now be wondering what in the world did she say? It went as follows "I call Ms. Dana" and "It's you. You're silly."

We're home!!!

Hey everybody, we are home. Isabelle's surgery went well. She is doing as well as she can considering. (thank goodness for tylenol with codeine!!) The day went pretty uneventfully. Isabelle got a little anxious once we went back to the pre-op room, but they gave her some "happy juice" and well, let's just say she was definitely happy! More like giggly! Don't worry we got it on film so we will post that in the next couple of days. It really was funny! She was not so happy waking up that is for sure. But we are home and resting. Thanks for the prayers.

For our family who has seen the video of the ventriloquist with the puppets. Isabelle has decided to imitate the first puppet who was giving "the attitude"! Enjoy. (it is short!)

Isabelle is having surgery Thursday

Our sweet Isabelle has been battling issues with her tonsils for awhile now. The final decision has been that she will be better off without them! Sooo, out the come. Please pray for her and her recovery in the days to follow! Bring on the Jello!!! (oh, and here are some pictures to remind you how cute she is!)

Happy Birthday Lindsay! (a week late!)

Last week we thoroughly enjoyed a visit from the Ferguson family. They were in town celebrating birthdays (Lindsay, and Dana, and some of their extended family birthdays!). Since I had posted a picture of Isabelle's version of the Ferguson family, but didn't have Lindsay at the time, I figured I would post a picture of Isabelle's Lindsay! Happy Birthday Lindsay,"You once were lost, but now are found!"

Happy Mother's Day (a few days late.)

We hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day. While it was cold and rainy outside, it was warm and cozy inside! Brian helped the kids do a little shopping for me, and then they made a card. I would have been really surprised except that sweet Isabelle can NOT keep a secret! She marched right upstairs and told me she had just made a card to give me with my flowers for Mother's Day! Anyway, flowers and chocolate, my favorites! (oh, and a rug, but not really for Mother's Day, just a gift, which we LOVE!)

Nope, it's not ours!!

My mom has had an exciting week. First she got a new puppy! (exciting for her and us!) The kids LOVE Tinkerbell. Isabelle has quickly realized she loves dogs that are much smaller than herself. Second, mom graduated from college. After going to school on and off for 25 years she has finally finished her degree. We are all very proud of her.
