Well, it started with the house shaking. I wasn't sure if the house was about explode or what. Come to find out, the shaking has been felt across the city. That's right folks, we just had an earthquake. In a year where we have had tornadoe's in January, major snow storm in March followed by flooding, this takes the cake! Anybody else feel the shaking this morning! (by the way, the earthquake only woke up Samuel, and he thinks it is cool!-I think it is was a little unnerving, especially with Brian being gone!)
UPDATE- earthquake -approximately 5.4 in magnitude, epicenter, southern Illinois.

WOW! Talk about trains, planes and automobiles...you been through it!!! I pray your day is productive, calm and joyful even though the start of the day was a little crazy:). Love, R
We felt it in NW TN too! While living at Union City, we felt numerous tremors on the New Madrid fault. This was the worst I've ever felt. Marshall remembers the one in 1968, but I don't. We both froze, yet I was ready to dive under my desk as I thought the china cabinet behind me was going to come over. Nothing fell here, but I had numerous items that needed pushing back a bit on shelves. There is reported minor damage between here and Murray.
By the way, while I've never posted, I so enjoy all three of the Croft family blogs.
Much love, Patty
That's crazy!! At least it didn't wake up all the kids! :)
It woke me up this morning, too. Very crazy. Austin and I are headed to my Great Grandmother's funeral this weekend, so we won't see you at church. Take care.
