Scott, Rachel, and Will were here for a visit.

While Scott, Rachel, and Will were here visiting Gigi, we were able to have some fun swimming, playing the Wii and decorating cupcakes.

No we have not forgotten about our blog......

We just haven't had time to breathe, let alone blog! We have had church cook-outs, a trip with Grammy (ask Samuel about his stitches!), playdates with friends, and of course gymnastics!! But here is a brief view of our summer thus far. (and yes we have needed jackets- it's been a cool one, not that we are complaining!)






I still love playing with my camera (though I've now entered the phase of wanting new lenses~~).

Though Gigi can't play with us like she used to, we still had a great time at her house. It included playing cards,




blowing bubbles,




and of course playing ball in the backyard.

Our first trip to the zoo.

While Scott, Rachel, and Will were here visiting we had a chance to go to the zoo. This is our first of many trips of the season. I think our favorite was the baby giraffe. (though the train ride is a close second-especially since it meant NOT walking up the big hill.)

Finally some updates!!

After Abby's gymnastics meet we were suppose to leave on vacation- first to D.C., then Williamsburg,and finally North Carolina. However, Samuel ended up being really sick so we missed the D.C. part of our trip. Thankful Samuel finally recovered in time for us to make it Williamsburg. We had a great time, and have lots of pictures, too many to post! Below are a few from Williamsburg. Special thanks to the Alden's for having us over for lunch on Sunday and then meeting us at Williamsburg one afternoon for lots of fun.
