Fun time at Grandma's House!

Yes, we spent the week at Grandma's. Which means lots of food, camping out in the dining room and lots of time outside. (not to mention pizza, popcorn, and movies) Who would ever want to leave?

Well, we actually all ended up sleeping in the same room before the night was over!

It also includes climbing trees!

Go Fly A Kite? We tried, but not enough wind right now! (yes that is a NASCAR kite Samuel is flying. Bought by Grandma, but he was really excited about it. Not an influence from his parents!!!!)

This was as high as any kite went.

Where's Daddy?

Help!! Where has my daddy gone? California? Where's that? Will he ever come back? Hey, wait a minute that's not why I am crying! FEED ME!!!! CHANGE ME!!! GIVE ME A NAP!!!! What a cruel world!!

It's ok though because Mommy is here!! (after all she is the one that feeds me!) And I am at Grandma's. Does it get any better?

Laundry and More Laundry!!

The great thing about Claire being so small is that she fits litereally anywhere! Here she is hanging out in the laundry basket while I am putting clothes from the washer to the dryer. Fourth child--do I need to say more?

Here is our new washer! It is FABULOUS!! And just in time for all of our laundry needs!

I'll be 6 weeks old on Wednesday!!

Aren't I so sweet when I sleep! (Sorry mom that I sleep at 2:00pm instead of 2:00am!)

Bunny Feet!

A week of 1st's!

What a week! The kids had a GREAT time in Florida and have lots of pictures (and stories). However on the trip home they picked up some kind of sickness!! Samuel came home with a cough, Abby started on Thursday with a fever and had it until Saturday night. I started with fever/cough on Saturday and Isabelle started on Sunday. Brian came down with it Sunday night and fortunately Claire has stayed strong! Today (wed) we are starting to come out of everything, so we will be back to posting pictures in a week or so!

Claire has survived her first family illness (so far!), she has had her first days of crying herself to sleep, she has given us her first smile--though hard earned because she is not happy about us putting her down for any reason! Hopefully we will be able to capture some of these firsts on camera for you to enjoy. Until then, cover your mouths, wash your hands, and by all means DON'T TOUCH THE BABY.

Florida Here We Come! (Well two of us!)

Samuel and Abby have been in Florida this past week with Grammy and Grandpa. We will post more pictures from their trip when they return!

Ok, so technically the crib is not a big girl bed, but for little Claire it is! Don't let the blanket fool you she isn't that big!

No, my hair did not grow THAT much during pregnancy~! This is our friend Rachel that traveled all the way from North Carolina to stay with us for two weeks and help. She has been such a blessing to our family. She has helped with everything and been very gracious to play outside in the FREEZING cold with the kids! Thanks to the Bowen family for being willing to part with their daughter so she could serve us.

Snow Days!!

After much waiting we have our first snow fall of the year that has been enough for the kids to play in for a while!
